Gerard Schwarz Conducts the Juilliard Orchestra

Renowned conductor Gerard Schwarz celebrates his 50-year career and his 70th birthday by returning to his alma mater to conduct the Juilliard Orchestra.

21CM Takeaway: Here’s an opportunity to appreciate the legacy of living musicians. Gerard Schwarz, best known for his work as the music director of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, returns to his old stomping grounds to conduct works by fellow Juilliard musicians, including former faculty David Diamond and Jacob Druckman, and former Juilliard president William Schuman.
