In this collaborative project between Masary Studios, New England Foundation for the Arts and the National Park Service, this performance examines the role that this historic meetinghouse had in Boston’s history, particularly during the Revolutionary War. It’s a collection of poems, stories and songs about rising, resisting and discovering one’s personal truth both throughout history and today.
21CM Takeaway: Masary Studios is a sound, light and performance trio combining the talents of Sam “Samo” Okerstrom-Lang, Maria Finkelmeier and Ryan Edwards. Each of their performances reinvents ways these mediums can be used together. Musicians with collaborative aspirations, take note!
